All money raised will go to Launch Housing to help end homelessness.

Your fundraising efforts will help Victorians doing it tough right now as well as supporting long-term activities to end homelessness.

Every dollar you raise has an impact on someone and makes a difference:

• Every $25 you raise could provide a new set of toiletries for a person in need
• Every $50 you raise could provide urgent medication for a person in need
• Every $75 you raise could help a parent buy their children much needed school uniforms
• Every $200 you raise could help a parent pay their children's school fees
• Every $300 you raise could feed a family in crisis for a week
• Every $500 you raise could provide someone with a fridge or a washing machine when moving into a new home after experiencing homelessness
• Every $1,000 you raise could provide a full home starter kit for someone who has experienced homelessness.

Some of our long-term activities include:

Rough Sleepers Initiative

We help care for rough sleepers in Melbourne CBD, and the Cities of Port Phillip, Stonnington, Frankston and Dandenong. We support people sleeping rough to find crisis accommodation and housing. 

Crisis accommodation centres

We run four crisis accommodation centres across Melbourne. These centres support people experiencing homelessness by providing a safe place to sleep and expert support across a range of areas. Last year, our crisis centres supported 1,433 individuals and families for an average of 3.1 months.

Elizabeth Street Common Ground

A permanent supportive housing initiative tackling long-term homelessness in Melbourne. We provide 65 studio apartments, and deliver on-going support to improve residents’ health, wellbeing and lifestyle.

Private rental assistance program

Supporting people who are struggling to find or keep their home in the private rental market. We provide financial and practical assistance to establish and maintain private rental tenancies.

Education pathways program

We provide a specialist early intervention program to support children in crisis accommodation. The program helps some of the most vulnerable children in our community.

Education First Youth Foyers

We work to break the cycle of homelessness by supporting young people, aged 16 to 24, to build a secure and sustainable livelihood.
